Drawn Words and Written Pictures is an original piece which combines art, poetry, theatre and music culminating in a unique production.D

Richard and Tracey both have found success in their own fields, Richard in performing and writing, Tracey in art and design.  But it wasn’t until their talents met that they found themselves embarking upon a project which was to change their lives.

It all started when Richard called Tracey to see if she would be interested in, ‘doing a couple of paintings’ to depict a couple of his poems.  This project started to escalate and 2 years and 12 poems and pictures later, along with a lot of hard work and dedication

Drawn Words and Written Pictures was born...

Drawn Words and Written Pictures consists of 12 pieces of artwork inspired by poetry which are also inter linked with a song ‘Soul Song’, and a play called ‘The Living Room’ - the result being a totally new and unique production.

Drawn Words and Written Pictures takes you on a journey of self-discovery and raises ones spiritual awareness.

There is no right or wrong way - you just have to open yourself up to what you see in front of you.

The book has deeper explanations into the poetry and paintings from the writers and the artists’ point of view.
